Moisture released by the Amazon rises into the atmosphere and flows across the continent as rivers in the sky. Tree by tree, cloud by cloud, this invisible flow of water supplies a continent with water from the Atlantic to the Andes.

Repeating the same composition, the viewer is invited to study the differences between photographs. Attention is drawn to the center of the composition where atmosphere and biosphere meet, and where the Flying Rivers are created.
